President Joe Biden‘s new foreign policy techniques are baffling. By any moral conventional, they are undermining Israel and helping Hamas.
You have to know what Biden is thinking when he is caught on an empty camera following his State of the Union address in which he told Democrat Sen. Michael Bennet of Colorado that Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were “going to have a come- to- Jesus meeting.”
It was a strange reply for two factors. Second, it is unlikely the head of the Hebrew state may have a” appear- to- Jesus moment”. ( Even a come- to- Moses or Abraham moment—but hardly a come- to- Jesus time. ) Since the 1980s, I’ve known Netanyahu. I’m convinced that Biden’s statement made him laugh rather than make him feel overwhelmed.
Next, the British leader cannot dictate to the prime minister of Israel. Israel is a royal state. Additionally, its entire history has been a collection of noble victories that required it to count on its own bravery and ingenuity to ensure the security of its citizens. The United States has historically been a friend of Israel ( although we intervened vehemently in the Suez Crisis of 1956 to avenge an Israeli victory ). But the United States is just advise—it cannot define.
Biden famously declared that the town of Rafah would be under Jewish control. Of course, we all recall President Barack Obama‘s popular line about the use of chemical weapons by Syria, which vanished as soon as it began to use the arms.
Netanyahu responded evidently to Biden’s risk. He told , Politico’s parent company, Axel Springer,” We’ll go there. We’re not going to keep … You know, I have a dark range. You know what the red line is, that Oct. 7 does n’t happen again”.
At that point, Biden’s dark column faded just like Obama’s. Biden said on MSNBC,” It is a dark line, but I’m never going to leave Israel”.
Yet Netanyahu’s political rivals in Israel are aware that annexing Rafah is a prerequisite for lasting peace. Benny Gantz, a member of the Israeli War Cabinet, said,” Finishing the combat without demilitarizing Rafah is like sending in firefighters to put out 80 % of a fire.”
The situation for completely destroying Hamas is enormous. The standard foundation report of Hamas calls for the total loss of Israel. One of its most important frontrunners said officially,” not a one Jew will be”. Hassan Hamas, the leader of a terrorist state, allegedly snatched 300 miles of caves from the people of Gaza from the people to construct homes and hospitals.
Hamas has demonstrated its willingness to apply Gaza’s citizens as mortal weapons to guard its top leaders and military installations. Hamas ‘ willingness to sacrifice its own people in order to cause a charitable protest against Israel has been a factor in the number of dead and wounded in Gaza since Oct. 7.
Tragically, the Biden administration and a large portion of the British media advertising accept the cruelty of Hamas and concentrate their focus on the Israelis. The fact is: This is an industrial warfare that Hamas started. In industrial warfare, human deaths are obvious. The information media’s anti- Israel, racist partiality leads it to take the Hamas propaganda.
As Richard Goldberg wrote,” Biden should draw dark lines for Hamas, never for Israel”.
Biden’s suggestion to keep Israel out of Rafah had essentially create a haven for Hamas terrorists. It would be an absurd deed that would ensure the survival of those whose purpose is the total devastation of Israel. The conflict may be unlimited.
When Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the Iranian Parliament song,” Death to America, dying to Israel”, they mean it. We are aware that the Ayatollah pledged to the Persian people that these thoughts were hardly a slogan but a policy after appearing on national television.
Hamas ‘ intent to destroy Israel is clearly demonstrated in its map-making. As Louis Rene Beres wrote , in lawyer. com on Dec. 23, 2023:
Unhidden, both the Muslim world and Iran also have just a’ One- Express Solution’ for the’ Israel Problem.’ It is a’ answer’ that eliminates Israel immediately, a bodily solution, a ‘ Final Solution.’ Even today, official Arab maps of’ Palestine’ ( PNA and Hamas ) show the prospective Arab State comprising all of the West Bank ( Judea/Samaria ), all of Gaza and all of Israel. They knowingly list just “holy sites” for Christians and Muslims, and deliberately remove any references to a Jewish people.
Biden should remain firmly on the side of Israel and civilization—and against Hamas ‘ savagery, violence, and murder.
Unfortunately, he is failing that evaluation.
