2 Vermont communities devastated by summer flooding seek $3.5M to elevate homes for victims

In order to raise 20 properties in Barre and the capital city of Montpelier for flood victims who also need secure places to live as the state struggles with a housing crisis, two of the Vermont areas hardest hit by the devastating flood of last summer have requested$ 3.5 million in state funding.
