    Netflix’s Executive Compensation Dwarfs Federal Tax Payments by Nearly Triple: Study

    According to a recent analysis of business tax practices, Netflix, one of the best television and video streaming solutions, paid its top executives more in federal taxes than it has contributed. This finding, according to non-profits like Americans for Tax Fairness and the Institute for Policy Studies, highlights a general trend of business entities paying more in executive compensation than in income.
    Netflix was one of 35 companies, according to the study, where executive pay surpassed national tax efforts in at least two of the five times analyzed, spanning the years 2018 to 2022. Throughout this period, Netflix disbursed a staggering$ 652 million to its top five executives, juxtaposed with a comparatively modest$ 236 million in federal income tax payments, resulting in a nominal tax rate of 1.6 percent….
