Following a complaint brought by Mayor Eric Adams, a Texas van company has agreed to stop carrying immigrant passengers to New York City.

On Wednesday, Roadrunner Charters signed a restriction email agreeing to prevent sending refugees to New York City. One of the powerhouses of Gov. was the business. Greg Abbott’s ( R- TX ) effort to deliver immigrants to Democratic- work cities.

” The Suspect Roadrunner Charters Inc. may stop forthwith from transporting people known as refugees from Texas to New York City, and/or from Texas to the region of New York City”, the email, obtained by Politico, said.

The New York City Department of Social Services is one of 17 businesses in dispute, asking for$ 78 million in damage. It contends that the businesses broke state laws, which requires that anyone who brings a man to New York to become dependant on state aid either move them to another position or provide for them.

Adams expressed his gratitude for the decision in a speech and demanded that all other bus companies involved in the project follow Roadrunner Charters ‘ example.

” I am pleased to see that Roadrunner — one of the van companies we sued for taking part in Texas Governor]Greg] Abbott’s system to transport tens of&nbsp, thousands of migrants&nbsp, to our town in an attempt to destroy our house program and shift costs to New York City — has agreed to end the bussing of migrants into and around New York City &nbsp, while the complaint proceeds”, Adams said in a statement, obtained by Fox News. We urge all another bus organizations involved in this lawsuit to do the same.

Adams was contacted by The Washington Examiner for more discussion.
