One of the lawmakers prompted by the accusations made by a former business partner of Hunter Biden against two Democratic members of Congress on Wednesday during the impeachment reading over President Joe Biden’s presence in his son’s overseas business dealings, which led to one of the lawmakers interrupting his evidence.
Tony Bobulinski, who claimed the president was involved in his son’s dealings, said Reps. Dan Goldman ( D., N. Y. ) and Jamie Raskin ( D., Md. ) The pair” will continue to lie today at this hearing and go straight to the media to tell more lies,” he said,” [lilied ] directly to the American people without hesitation and remorse.
Raskin cut off Bobulinski’s testimony and asked James Comer ( R., Ky. ), chair of the House Oversight Committee, whether a House rule prohibiting members from insulting one another would also apply to Bobulinski, a witness. Does it use or does not”? Raskin asked Comer, prompting Bobulinski to rudely listen,” Am I supposed to say it’s my day, Mr. Raskin”? After Comer claimed that the rule did n’t apply to witnesses, the hearing continued.  ,
Hunter Biden and Devon Archer, both of whom served on Burisma’s board of directors, were even invited by the Oversight Committee. Both Biden and Archer, but, declined to appear in the Wednesday reading. Archer’s attorney cited a lack of time for his client to make. Hunter made an offer to speak in front of the audience in November, but Hunter later retracted it last week.
