Attorney General of Oklahoma Gentner Drummond is collaborating with state legislators to pass legislation that would allow position law enforcement to detain illegal immigrants.
A similar laws in Texas is being challenged by the Biden Administration.
Drummond claims that the federal government is failing to secure the borders, so he’s hoping that the Supreme Court will allow specific states to veto laws to protect themselves.  ,
According to Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond,” The prosecutions that we make in our prepared crime commission are usually made by someone who is affiliated with the Mexican cartel or by someone who is affiliated with the Chinese prepared crime syndicate.”
Drummond claims that Oklahomans are already being detained because the situation at the southern border has affected them.” We are now detaining these improper immigrants- and unless they have committed a crime that we can wire to them,” We must give them to ICE.
“ICE is just giving them a house complete- please return in 3 months for you’re hearing- or please go back to Mexico- they’re never obeying that”, Drummond continued.
The solicitor general wants to pass legislation this program to improve the state-level process. By protecting Receiving every day,” we will strengthen the national agencies,” said Drummond.
In a statement, House Speaker Charles McCall said,” Oklahoma should be the last place improper refugees want to live when they cross the border.”
Which is why he is introducing the policy Drummond is urging. According to Drummond, the bill would allow Oklahoma’s status to detain and arrest illegal stars.
This is the “tired, political speech we hear every election time,” according to House Minority Leader Cyndi Munson. Otherwise, she calls on Congress for” A republican solution to address border security”.
This is not an accusation against anyone. Let’s let the says defend themselves,” said Drummond.
Governor of Oklahoma Kevin Stitt has praised frontier security with vigor. If Texas Governor Greg Abbott asks for additional assistance, Stitt says he will send the Oklahoma National Guard there once.
