The typical cost of rent in the UK lettings industry increased by a historically significant amount in the year to February.
On Wednesday, the Office of National Statistics ( ONS ) announced that prices increased by 9 % last month, which was the highest annual percentage change since 2015.
Cost increases have been observed in all parts of the nation. Homeowners in England saw a climb of 8.8 cent, with images for Wales and Scotland reaching 9 and 10.9 percentage both.
This results in an ordinary monthly fee of £1, 276 for tenants in England. London prices averaged 10.6 percentage, while the east averaged 5.7 %, and were the highest.
