The Biden administration’s Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA ) has revealed its ambition: to phase out gas- powered cars in favor of electric vehicles ( EVs ). Amazingly, this statement comes as we are flooded with overwhelming proof that electric vehicles are a business fool.
However, the EV market’s artificial boom and meltdown are a contemporary commercial disaster. It was created by federal, social media, wild disorder fury, significantly- flung thinking, and the foolish chasing of utopia, followed by a rude awakening by facts and reality.
Hertz’s CEO, Stephen Scherr, was fired after making a sizable purchase of an EV fleet that consumers did n’t even want to rent. In a business where customers are not particularly interested, the firm has been forced to sell them at a significant reduction.
