CAMDEN — Camden resident Kit Harrison may talk at the Camden Rotary Club at 12 p. m. on Tuesday, March 26, about immigration in Maine and how Midcoast- based volunteers help fresh Mainers navigate life around.
Harrison is director- in- commander of Amjambo Africa, a multimedia, multicultural nationwide media source focused on immigration. She belongs to Connecting Across Cultures, a community of individuals who celebrate diversity and assist newcomers safely navigate living in the Midcoast. The participants help with household materials, winter clothes, travel, language, friendship and more.
