The economic bank’s diversity policies may be unconstitutional, a prosecutor has suggested, following equalities minister Kemi Badenoch this year saying it’s illegal to use good bias and quotas in pursuit of variety.
Asked whether she believes the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA’s ) policies on diversity targets are lawful, barrister Anna Loutfi told The Epoch Times:” No I do n’t. And I think they may have to be tested”.
Ms. Loutfi, mind of legal at The Bad Law Project, said institutions perhaps “feel like” their plans are in the right direction within the cultural landscape, but if they result in positive discrimination in exercise it’s immoral and can lead to” the worst kinds of cultural separation”….
