More than 440, 000 silver Starbucks- branded vacation mugs have been recalled by Nestlé USA due to fire and tear hazards, officials have announced.
The recall involves metallic- coated mugs that were included in four of the company’s 2023 holiday gift sets, the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission ( CPSC ) said in a March 21 recall notice.
The four product sets contained a concrete mug with a silver finish that bears Starbucks brand, and the mugs were sold in 11 oz and 16 oz sizes, according to the observe.
Nestlé USA Inc., which is based in Arlington, Virginia, and distributes the glasses, said the 2023 christmas gift pieces included in the recall are the Coffee Holiday Gift Set with 2 Mugs, Starbucks Classic Hot Cocoa and Mug, Starbucks Peppermint and Classic Hot Cocoas and Mug, and Starbucks Holiday Blend Coffee and Mug….
