TYLER, Texas (KETK) – Smith County Sheriff Larry Smith, along with other Texas prosecutor’s, hand- delivered a notice to Gov. Greg Abbott endorsed the measures and laws that have been implemented to stable the southern border on Wednesday.

” We just wanted the governor to know, we did n’t want him to be out there on an island by himself, that we were in full support of what he’s doing”, Smith said.
Smith claimed that his own backyard is witnessing a frontier problems.
” The deadly drugs that are coming across, the sex trafficking, and everything else that’s coming across that we do n’t stand for in the state of Texas,” Smith said.

Since therefore, Abbott has reported a significant decrease in the number of people entering Texas, but Smith claimed that law enforcement solutions are in short supply.

Abbott and law enforcement are urging the Biden presidency to support the Constitution and provide assistance in this issue.
” The state Constitution is put in place is working, our US Constitution is not working as far as multiculturalism is concerned”, Smith said.
Smith said he understands that the magistrates need to take their time to make their decisions, but he is hoping the result will be in their favor because SB4 is still being put on hold by appeals courts.
