Prizefighter Mike Tyson continues to stand by previous President Donald Trump, admitting in a new interview that the two had dinner at Mar- a- Lago just and extolling the man who advised him on monetary matters for years while even complimenting his wife and son.
In a picture from Patrick Bet David’s audio spotted by the American Tribune, Tyson used the advertising about his future struggle with Jake Paul to proclaim his long companionship with the former president and offered nothing but good things to say about him, his family, and their dedicated supporters.
” He’s the man”, Tyson declared when David mentioned President Trump’s recent appearance at a UFC fight in Miami.
” You walked up with Trump”, David said. ” And that area lost their thinking, when you men walked away. I do n’t know if you …”?

” People do n’t like him but Trump is the man. He has his supporter base, he has his followers, and they’re going to stay with him to the conclusion”, Tyson replied.
” I’ve always had a bad time with him”, he added when asked about their lifelong marriage. Trump initially began advising Tyson on monetary matters in the 1980s while he was really up and coming in the sport world. ” I became quite profited from him”.
” I only had supper with him a year ago”, Tyson continued. ” Me, him, Barron, and his family, and it was just off the hook. Barron, he’s therefore smart… This boy’s on top of his game cognitively”.
Asked about his conversation with former first lady Melania Trump, Tyson was equally emphatic in his reward, calling her an “awesome first girl”.
A ringing endorsement from perhaps the most popular cultural icon in the fighting world is not lost on Trump, appearing with him at UFC fights in 2023 as well. He has floated the idea of having Tyson conduct an interview, according to Rolling Stone, as part of a broader campaign strategy to expand his appeal into the world of contact sports. He has appeared at numerous events with the prolific Sean Strickland as well, even squaring up for photos.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, Tyson came to Trump’s defense when the then- candidate was accused of making Islamophobic remarks about temporarily shutting down the arrival process from all Middle Eastern nations. Tyson, who is a practicing Muslim, pushed back on criticism of his friend at the time.
” Anybody that was ever president of the United States offended some group of people or some groups of people were offended”, the fighter told TMZ. ” Ask his fans if he needs to apologize. He’s still ahead in the polls and he deserves a chance. If they do n’t like him, they should n’t vote for him. Let’s go to the polls and see who wins”.
