State officials absent on multiculturalism
Re:” Shifting rulings lead to discomfort — Texas officers grasp for advice on how to maintain measure amid migraine court decisions”, Thursday information story.
Backwards- and- back rulings over Texas ‘ immigration law definitely keep local police departments in a no- win situation. One judge said he would have at least 58 more delegates to enforce the law. Another law enforcement agencies hinted that they might never enforce the law. I am assuming they do not have the tools sometimes.
Of program House Speaker Dade Phelan said that it was necessary for law enforcement agencies to uphold state regulations and they are abandoning their sworn responsibility to uphold the rule of law. He has no option for the lack of sources. Gov. Greg Abbott’s company also has no truth.
Dallas police Chief Eddie García said that in his 32 times as a police officer, authorities do not go to the university to get federal immigration soldiers. Suddenly, as I have asked in characters before, where are our condition leaders, senators, lawyer standard? We elect these people to answer the tough questions. Where are they?

What can you believe?
There are items much more in need of attention than a edited picture. What organizations you I believe now? The administrative system? I do n’t trust it, not when the Texas attorney general can delay due process ad infinitum.
I do n’t trust a politicized Supreme Court. Congress? Misgivings about the border, but stones boundary legislation to provide one candidate an issue to foment citizens.
The physician system? The same system where it takes weeks to get in to see someone even if you have insurance that does n’t require a referral, or the one where a patient is discharged without any discharge instructions or warning about something like benign paroxysmal positional vertigo? Plan? You must have it, but do n’t file a claim unless you have an attorney to fight for you.
The class program? Not enough faculty for too many individuals. Limited safety. Implementation of the values of some on those of the people. Book banning. Nope, do n’t trust the school system.
A edited picture is the least of my anxieties.

Getting educated on vehicle fuel possibilities
Re:” U. S. to relieve plans for stricter emissions rules — Changes take into account stores ‘ concerns that EV sales have slowed”, Wednesday media history.
The subsequent drop in electric cars profits is possible due to the public no being educated in the different options they have. I have owned a Volt since 2013 and have not paid for gas since. It is a connect- in cross. For those of you who feel that your device might gain power on a longer vacation, this could be your best option, although the newer electronic cars normally have enough range for most trips.
A plug- in hybrid has a small engine that kicks in when the battery gets low, charging the battery while you drive. So you can travel as far as you want in the same way as a regular gasoline car.
However, when in the city where many of us spend most of our time, it will go 50 miles on the battery alone. This means that you will seldom fill up the eight- gallon tank that supplies the small engine.
The average family spends$ 5, 000 on gas or more per year so it is like receiving a$ 5, 000 check at the end of each year.

Focus on energy reliability
Re:” Carbon- Free Clearly Can Work For Texas— Renewable energy will transform our future if lawmakers would just stay out of the way”, March 9 editorial.
Renewables are great for energy conservation but lousy for control and stability of the grid. There must be enough turbine- driven generators on the system for control and stability. Today, that is fossil- fired steam or gas turbine technology. Natural gas engines like the ones in Greenville can also be used.
The Public Utility Commission plan for improved reliability of the grid does not exclude the building of more solar and wind. But it does require enough generation for control and stability to be built.
The Legislature does n’t need to block more renewables, but rather ensure there is enough reliable generation to be built in the future. This can be done by legislative support of the PUC plan with ERCOT for reliability of the grid.

No mention of nuclear power
This editorial reports that on Feb. 25, carbon- free power reached 82.8 %, of which 71.2 % was from renewables. This was a record, “indicating that renewables can produce massive amounts of power cheaply”.
Yes, high output from renewable energy occurs at times. But not necessarily when needed. Wind and solar are not dependable. Historically, renewable energy tends to be lowest during times of hot and cold temperature extremes — when demand is highest.
For public safety and economic security, the demand of an electrical grid must be met at all times. Conventional power from natural gas, coal and nuclear are reliable.
Industrial- scale wind and solar power could not compete without the significant government subsidies and mandates they are provided. When the true full costs are included, renewables are the most expensive source of power.
The only source of reliable and cost- effective power that is carbon free is nuclear power. Curiously, the editorial did n’t mention this fact.
