Getting physical satisfaction without chance of pregnancy via … homosexuality!
A St. Cloud State University “male accountability campaign” dubbed” Ejaculate Responsibly” claims , all unwanted pregnancies are the result of” cis men’s irresponsible ejaculation”.
Ladies, it says — those generally” with the least power in society” — get most of the blame according to “misogyny and persecution”.
According to , Alpha News, the battle, the founder of the university’s Women’s Center,  , was “inspired” by the text” Pee Properly: A Whole New Way to Think About Pregnancy” by Gabrielle Blair.
” Men generally run our government. Men mostly make the laws … if men were actually interested in reducing abortion, it did n’t need to take fifty years ]after the fall of Roe v. Wade ]”, a campaign handout reads.
” All people had to do was ejaculate properly. They chose not to. Now, they continue to choose no to”.
( The handout and posters point out their use “binary language” — “men” and “women” — is only utilized for the “purpose of conciseness”. )
The handbook claims our society puts” the problem of all sexual and reproductive role on women”, but this is an instance of “male privilege” and” sexism”:” While men have the most control and choice in the context of sex, it is women’s choices and bodies are continuously critiqued, controlled, punished, and shamed”.
It even notes “men have the most power and decision in the context of sexual by”:
• Causing pregnancy—a girl may get pregnant without a viable eggs
• Choosing where they loan their eggs
• External/ “male” condoms are generally free, visible, and have no side effects. Internal/ “female” contraceptives are hard to find and often free.
• Vasectomies are lower- cost, lower- risk, removable, and one- time efficient procedures that just take a few minutes. Mammograms are typically covered by insurance.
• Birth control for women is often not completely or obtainable, requires many follow- up appointments and continued monitoring, and has many harmful physical and mental health- related side effects. Emergency prevention is also expensive, often$ 30- 50 per pill.
A campaign poster apparently sums it up:” Women’s ovulation is involuntary. Men’s urination is volunteer”.
To avoid the pitfalls of pregnancy, the campaign recommends alternate methods of” sexual pleasure” such as masturbation, sex toys, and/or “only having sex with people who are unable to cause pregnancy” (aka another woman ).
