The Republican National Committee ( RNC ) filed a lawsuit Friday against Secretary of State Cisco Aguliar, a Democrat, claiming that the state has “impossibly high” voter registration and that the state has not followed regulations that require it to keep” clean and accurate voter registration records”.
The RNC’s , lawsuit , state,” At least three Nevada regions have more authorized voters than they have older people who are over the age of 18. That number of voters is utterly high”. According to the RNC’s evaluation of the country’s voter registration, five of the country’s 17 regions have voter rolls that appear to be inflated in violation of national demands.
Also, the lawsuit claims that two of Nevada’s regions have engaged voter registration costs that are comprised of over 90 % of adults people. The RNC’s complaint warns that the amount “far eclipses the federal and provincial voter registration rate in new elections”.
The Republican Party’s lawsuit against Aguliar accuses the state of not complying with the National Voter Registration Act ( NVRA ), which states that voter registration rolls must keep” clean and accurate voter registration records”.

” Election dignity starts with clear voter rolls, and that’s why the National Voter Registration Act requires condition officials to preserve their rolls appropriate and up- to- date”, RNC Co- Chair Michael Whatley , stated , in a press release on Monday. ” Nevada has widespread message voting and no voter ID requirement, which makes Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar’s failure to comply with the NVRA and provide appropriate voter rolls all the more concerning. Securing fresh voter spins in Nevada is a crucial step towards ensuring that it will be quick to vote and difficult to lie”.
According to The Daily Caller, the RNC also filed a lawsuit last week against Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson ( D- Mich. ) over similar claims. The RNC’s Michigan complaint accuses the state of having numerous counties with “inflated vote spins” and failing to comply with NVRA needs.
The Daily Caller reported that as of March 14, the RNC had filed 79 election integrity claims in 23 different claims as part of the 2024 election cycle.
