European Commission Launches Anti-Monopolistic Investigations Into Apple, Alphabet and Meta

Apple, Alphabet, and Meta are tech behemoths that the European Union launched anti-competitive investigations on Monday for possible DMA violations.
The businesses are alleged to have violated the DMA, a law intended to control large online websites or “gatekeepers.” These are companies with a large user base, engaged in many EU countries, commercially important, and that carry a significant impact on the market. This is the first case of non-compliance under the DMA.
The European Commission satellites are targeting Alphabet, the parent company of Google, and Apple for favoring their own game stores, thereby limiting customer options and engineer business opportunities, as well as Meta over its use of specific data….
