Robert F. Kennedy, an independent candidate for president, warned that central bank digital currencies ( CBDCs ) will open the door for an authoritarian government in America akin to the Chinese communist regime.
” I oppose central bank digital currencies because that is a part of the process of getting us where China is right now. That’s where they started, that’s where all these different countries started with central banks modern money, and it’s the end of liberty. We will be prisoners if we allow that to happen”, Mr. Kennedy said during a March 22 occasion. He cited the demonstrations of the American trucker as an example of how dangerous CBDCs were for freedom. The American government portrayed the truckers” when right- wing, fascist, and bigoted” when they were never, he said….
