
( WGHP ) — After two terms, U. S. Rep. Kathy Manning ( D- Greensboro ) is wrapping up her time in Congress.
Maintaining saw the writing on the wall when the Republican-led North Carolina General Assembly redrew the country’s congressional districts. She decided not to run because a Democrat was unlikely to win the city. Former Ted Budd employee Addison McDowell, who won the former president’s endorsement, is now. Donald Trump, won the GOP main, and, with no other events running, he is expected to simply get the seat in November.
