We regret to inform you that one more attitude anger is being raging among America’s editors. This one was made in response to NBC News ‘ decision to pay Ronna McDaniel as a contribution. The network’s own employees are out in full revolt because they are uncomfortable with the idea of having to work with a Republican who has n’t yet completely despised Donald Trump.
NBC general political scientist Chuck Todd, a former Democratic campaign secretary, slammed NBC professionals for hiring one with” trust concerns” and a background of “gaslighting”. Mika Brzezinski, the network’s political spokesman, urged the organization to “reconsider its determination.” Before airing her meeting with McDaniel on Meet the Press, number Kristen Welker issued a set alert over the weekend. When Nicole Wallace read a line from a book about tyranny, she decried how much “our spiritual radio” had deteriorated.
It would n’t be the first time that so-called mainstream journalists have revealed that they are hopelessly out of touch with the average American they claim to care about. The political anger over McDaniel’s getting suggests they are capable of self- attention.
On In with Jen Psaki, the MSNBC trip show hosted by the former press secretary to Joe Biden and Barack Obama, we may look forward to further conversation of this “scandal.” Psaki was welcome MSNBC source Robert Gibbs, another Obama press secretary, to communicate his thoughts on the matter. In the next section, MSNBC contributor Ben Rhodes, the original Obama national security adviser who bragged about manipulating” ignorant” reporters, may explain why McDaniel’s getting is good for Iran.
Even better, Joy Reid, a host of MSNBC, could slam the network for supporting” white supremacy” in an unhinged speech. Reid was promoted in 2020 to fill the position that former Democratic secretary Chris Matthews had left open after claiming that the term” Obama” was bigoted. Reid did not retire after virtual investigators discovered bigoted posts on her old website, whereas Matthews did so immediately after being accused of sexual abuse. She blamed it on attackers. ( It was n’t hackers. ) She got promoted anyhow.
Reid might continue the conversation with MSNBC social scientist Al Sharpton, the former fat cultural activist who sparked dangerous anti-Semitic riots in New York City in the 1990s. Smith uses his MSNBC app to stoke racial division and is still doing so. He argued, for instance, that attacking Harvard leader Claudine Gay was” an assault on every black woman in this nation,” referring to the scandal that surrounded her resignation earlier this year.
This system hired Martin Bashir, who compared criticizing the IRS to using the n-word, and eventually resigned after inviting his listeners to urinate in Sarah Palin’s teeth. This is the system that employed Melissa Harris- Perry, finest known for making fun of Mitt Romney’s adopted dark granddaughter, and Ed Schultz, best known for calling Laura Ingraham a “right- aircraft slut”, and Brian Williams, finest known for lying about coming under fire in Iraq, and Touré Neblett, a 9/11 truther accused of sexual harassment who suggested Holocaust survivors benefited from” the power of whiteness”. The better, the less about former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann is said.
This network has the potential to have exposed Harvey Weinstein’s long history of sexual misconduct in 2017. After Weinstein used his Democratic political connections and threatened to expose Today‘s host Matt Lauer’s own history of sexual misconduct, reporter Ronan Farrow claimed NBC stonewalled his investigation. Farrow gave up on NBC, published his story in the New Yorker, and won the Pulitzer Prize.
Among the so-called mainstream media networks, NBC is not all that unique. George Stephanopoulos, the top journalist at ABC News, was the White House communications director under Bill Clinton and was exposed by the Washington Free Beacon for disclosing his$ 75, 000 in donations to the Clinton Foundation while covering Hillary Clinton’s campaign for president in 2015. The network’s longtime investigative journalist, Brian Ross, was eventually forced out after reporting a false story about Donald Trump in 2018. Rosens won a number of journalism awards in 2012 when Rosen falsely claimed a Colorado Tea Party member was responsible for a mass shooting there.
Amy Robach, an ABC News anchor, complained in 2019 that the network partially denied airing her interview with one of Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers because it involved Prince Andrew and that it was concerned about losing access to the British royal family. On a related note, Epstein threw a dinner party for Prince Andrew in 2010 following Epstein’s release from prison for sex crimes. Stephanopoulos was present along with Katie Couric and Charlie Rose, two other well-known journalists.
Dan Rather used to regularly appear on Reliable Sources on CNN, where Brian Stelter, a media reporter who once ran an entire segment on Donald Trump’s typos, was a guest. Instead, a long-time CBS News anchor until his abrupt departure in 2006 after disclosing a fabricated account of George W. Bush’s service in the National Guard. Jeffrey Toobin made his first appearance on CNN as a commentator earlier this year despite announcing his “last day” at the network in 2022. He is best known for masturbating with coworkers on a Zoom call, sleeping with his coworker’s daughter, and pressuring her to have an abortion.
These are the people who are angry that NBC News chose a Republican as their source of support. They are still unable to understand why the majority of Americans do n’t trust journalists to report the truth. They do n’t deserve to be taken seriously. They are full of shit.
