A 25-year-old Michigan woman was killed in a drunken burglary effort by an illegal immigrant from Mexico, according to a report. She is awaiting trial on an empty death cost.
Ruby Garcia, 25, of Grand Rapids, was found deceased with apparent gunshot sores on the westbound lanes of US- 131 about 11: 40 p. m. Friday, Fox 17 reported.
The Midwesterner identified the suspect as Brandon Ortiz-Vite, a 25-year-old improper immigrant from Puebla, Mexico, despite the state’s police’s refusal to release details about him.
Ortiz-Vite and the sufferer had no idea what to do with them.
” He is currently in custody that’s all we know as of right now and he is/was these illegally”, said Ruby Garcia’s girl, Mavi.
He is expected to be arraigned on charges of homicide/open death, carjacking, criminal weapons, illegally carrying a concealed weapon, operating while drunken, and driving on a suspended or revoked registration, according to data cited by the media outlet.
Mavi Garcia referred to her late girl as” a great man all around.”
” She would light up the room with her beautiful teeth and laugh”, she told The Midwesterner. She “loved to go, was dedicated to her work, and enjoyed spending time with her home in her completely time.”
Ruby loved flowers and worked at a nearby house, Fox 17 reported.
” She was a wonderful daughter, sister, uncle and friend”, the grieving girl told the store. She will be remembered for having a life and a laugh, and those who knew her would be aware that she was crazy and made everyone laugh.
Garcia added:” Her lost has impacted the lives of many people. Her death was taken too soon. She deserved to live living, travel the world, have children and following her dreams”.
She declined to comment on the nature of his sister’s ties to Ortiz-Vite.
” He is currently in custody, that’s all we know as of right then and he is/was these illegally”, Garcia said.
State Police representatives confirmed to the news that the case’s authorities are preparing to release more details soon.
Ruby’s community has set up a GoFundMe account to help pay for her funeral expenses.  ,
” Our beautiful girl was taken from us on the day of 3/22/24, as you all know. We have sudden money, so we would like to start this account and request any gifts to help her receive the solutions she deserves,” they wrote in the charity.
We appreciate everyone who has stayed with us through these difficult periods, and thank you,” the household continued.
