TikTok, the Trojan Horse smartphone app from the Chinese Communist Party that primarily target children and teenagers, is back in the news as Congress considers legislation to address the national security threat it poses, among various issues.
Do we want our children to eat it over, even if Elon Musk or another technology mogul releases a different electronic pop-candy platform that is theoretically unaffected by ties to international opponents? TikTok is the academic equivalent of Candy on rate.
TikTok may pose a potential existential threat to both federal security and violence. Beyond that, nevertheless, there is a simple yet no less significant risk eating away at the internal organs of our society—a slow drip of modern acid evaporating our children’s brains, creating an domesticated army of fresh, hollow- skulled zombies….
