The annual NYC Easter Parade is renowned for its associated Bonnet Festival, which was established in 1870.

Terry Whittingham, from Salt Lake City, is only in Manhattan for one time, but she still set aside time to join in the NYC Easter Parade in front of St. Patrick’s Cathedral on 5th Avenue.

The annual festival is renowned for its associated Bonnet Festival, which was established in 1870.

” This is my first year attending”, Ms. Whittingham told The Epoch Times. The Easter Parade is on my bucket list because we are really going on a boat out of New York.

Ms. Whittingham, who spent two minutes yesterday creating an Easter hat for the parade, does n’t plan on voting in Tuesday’s primary because she’ll be out at sea.

Voters will be able to choose between Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump on the Democratic poll. Other candidates expected to be listed include Rep. Dean Phillips ( D- Minn. ), author and politician Marianne Williamson, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and original South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

” I do n’t care about voting right now because of the candidates we have, but I should care”, Ms. Whittingham added.

Astoria, Queens, native Jild Spotto has attended the rally annually since 1970. He started purchasing items from money stores two weeks ago to begin creating his high-top helmet. His enthusiasm is the power of the Springtime.

” It’s always a nice beginning of Spring to come to St. Patrick’s on a beautiful, sunny Sunday and experience the power of New York”, Mr. Spotto told The Epoch Times. ” It’s like art therapy and much cheaper than a psychiatrist”.

Mr. Spotto plans to vote on Tuesday but he is n’t thrilled with the candidates.

” It’s a very sad scenario”, he said.

It took Andrew Sirjue two nights and$ 50 to develop his Bronx Zoo- inspired, two- tiered Easter hat. The helmet’s center was inspired by youth visits to the New York Botanical Gardens.

” I remember my parents used to take me that when I was a child and I was really inspired by all the insects, the flies, the bees, the animals, the plants”, Mr. Sirjue told The Epoch Times. The middle rank is” about every animal I can recall seeing at the park in the spring” and” seeing them all at once.”

The Far Rockaway voter has now cast a ballot. He profited from March 23’s early election.

New York Gov. The Early Mail Voter Act was signed into law last year by Kathleen Hochul.

” I wish they would have had more applicants”, Mr. Sirjue added. I believe the two-party program needs to be eliminated. I voted for the candidate who I believe can do the job better and clean up the United States, but I wo n’t tell you who.

Christian Pietrapiana has been a part of the rally for a while, and each year he continues to wear the same economic protest hat. The Sunnyside, Queens, native says society is choking on cheap, which is why his helmet is adorned with clear plastic containers.

” I’m here on behalf of the planet”, Mr. Pietrapiana told The Epoch Times. We are not assisting in the celebration of faith and rebirth, according to the statement.

Mr. Pietrapiana wo n’t be voting on Tuesday because he’s registered as an independent. The physical actor anticipates casting a ballot in November’s general election.

” One member seems to be reasonable, not the other one”, he added.

Salechi Enzo, who attended the rally with her child, Gaby, spent about$ 20 on painting.

Ms. Enzo was visiting from Brazil, and the dog in her hands was sporting an Easter bunny coat.

” Insects represent freedom and renaissance”, Ms. Endo told The Epoch Times. ” I added jewels so that the insects likely sparkle.”

Ms. Enzo wo n’t be voting because she’s not a U. S. citizen and lives in Brazil.

Sergio Valdemez, whose hat was decorated with canine figurines, brought two of his four save puppies.

” I love canines”, he said. I save dogs, and it’s so enjoyable to do it. They do n’t mind. They enjoy it a bit and are very fond of it.

Although Mr. Valdemez plans to vote on Tuesday, he is n’t pleased with his choices, either.

” I’m not too crazy about our politicians right today”, Mr. Valdemez added.

Lisa Evans has two years in a row attended the festival.

” It’s a wonderful parade”, Ms. Evans told The Epoch Times. ” There’s not too many individuals and it’s celebrating Easter, which is beautiful”.

Ms. Evans took two days to design a helmet with birds, rose, hens and green moss.

” My friend came over”, Ms. Evans added. ” She and I made them yesterday. We’re meeting her in a minute”.
