The new Israeli Authority state was announced by the White House on Friday, suggesting that the West Bank-based PA was on track to overtake Hamas ‘ control of Gaza.
According to a speech from State Department spokesman Matthew Miller, President Joe Biden’s leadership “looks forward to working with the fresh case.” A revitalized PA is necessary to achieve results for the Arab citizens in both the West Bank and Gaza and to create the conditions for security in the region, Miller added.
But, at least two of the newly appointed PA officials have endorsed Jewish violence by Palestinians.
PA women’s affairs minister Muna all- Khalili defended” the Arab people’s right to resist the job” in the days following Hamas’s Oct. 7 evil assault on Israel and rallied for the release of “heroic” Arab mass murderers. Years before, al- Khalili praised an infamous Palestinian evil harm, in which 53 people, including 12 Jewish children and an British artist, were killed, as a “quality resistance operation”.
Muhammad Mustafa Najem, the head of the PA’s spiritual affairs ministry, recited a sermon a decade ago in which he urged Palestinians to “afflict the Jews with the worst pain.” He added that Immigrants are “pigs and apes” as well.
The feedback provide further cause for suspicion, now widespread, including among Palestinians, that the PA can be effectively reformed. Following the Israel-Hamas war, the Biden administration’s and many of its supporters objected to Israel’s and many of its supporters ‘ demands that the Palestinian Authority take control of Gaza, citing the agency’s decades-long involvement in stoking aggressive hatred of Jews and the Jewish state among Palestinians through education, media, and generous wages for jihadists and their families.
” What’re we’re seeing with these officials is that the PA, in its nature, is the same extremist- supporting object it has always been”, Itamar Marcus, the chairman of Palestinian Media Watch, an Jewish watchdog group that unearthed the notes on Sunday, told the Washington Free Beacon. The United States must alter its information. It ca n’t just be transparency and and less corruption. There must be no supporting terror before the point and no satisfying and glorifying it after the truth. If they do n’t insist on that, everything that hopes will be lost is trying to create a peaceful PA.
Unknown Biden administration officials contacted Marcus about reports that the United States was close to a package that would allow the PA to stop paying for violence. Israeli Media Watch a decade ago exposed a alleged reform of the plan, known as “pay for slay”, as a fraud, and since Oct. 7, the power has doubled down, the Free Beacon reported. If the PA stopped the payments, Marcus claims, the PA may lose how much legitimacy it has left in the hands of the Israeli public.
” They may contact them retirement, they may call them social security for the prisoners, but they’re going to continue paying the jihadists exactly as much as they do today—which is way, way more than they pay people in have”, Marcus said.
Requests for comment from the White House, the State Department, and PA leader Mahmoud Abbas’s office went unanswered.
In a speech on October 26, Al- Khalili, who was also the head of the Palestine Liberation Organization’s women’s union, said that” there will not be peace or stability in the entire region and the world without the Palestinian people receiving its legitimate rights,” and that she had previously been the head of the Palestinian people’s union.
Less than two weeks prior, al-Khalili led a rally organized by the General Union of Palestinian Women that demanded the release of some of the masterminds of the second intifada, a wave of Palestinian terrorism that resulted in the deaths of more than 1, 000 Israelis, the majority of whom were civilians. ” Freedom for the heroic prisoner” read placards featuring images of the terrorists, including Ibrahim Hamed, a Hamas leader who is serving 54 life sentences for the murder of 46 civilians.
Al-Khalili addressed an event in honor of Dalal Mughrabi, a female terrorist who carried out the Coastal Road massacre along with other Fatah members, who are now the PA’s ruling party, in 2018. It was the deadliest act of Palestinian terror prior to Oct. 7, killing 37 civilians, including 12 children, and an American photographer.
According to the official PA newspaper Al-Hayat Al-Jadida,” We are gathering today 40 years after the high-quality resistance operation that 20-year-old Martyr Dalal Mughrabi led at the head of a squad of self-sacrificing fighters,” al-Khalili said.
Najem, an Islamic leader, in a 2002 sermon on official PA TV, called for Muslims to terrorize Jews, whom he said the Koran warns are” characterized by conceit, pride, arrogance, rioting, disloyalty, and treachery”. He claimed that Allah had made Jews “apes and pigs” and had sent them to” the worst torment”
” O servants of Allah, be the ones through which Allah will afflict the Jews with the worst torment”, Najem said. Allah, grant us victory over the Jews and those who support them! Allah, grant us victory over the Jews and the patrons of the Jews ‘ arrogance”!
The Palestinian Authority has avoided condemning the atrocities of Oct. 7 during which Palestinian terrorists from Gaza killed more than 1, 200 people, most of them civilians, and took 253 hostage.  , Some 130 Israelis have remained captive in Gaza, not all of them alive.
