Chinese Illegal Immigrant Arrested After Entering Marine Corps Base and Refusing to Leave

After allowing himself to enter the largest Marine Corps center in the nation and refusing to leave, an illegitimate immigrant from China was detained.

A representative from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection ( CBP ) claimed a Chinese national who had spied on a military base in California and obstructing his or her orders to leave last week.

In a March 29 post on social media app X, CBP’s El Centro Sector Chief Patrol Agent Gregory Bovino claimed that officials were dispatched to a Marine Corps bottom after a Taiwanese national entered the hospital without license and without complying with left purchases.

” Subject was confirmed to be in the state illegally”, Mr. Bovino wrote, noting that his purpose in entering the bottom remains under investigation.

The Epoch Times contacted CBP and the U.S. Marine Corps for more information about the incident, but they did n’t respond by press time.

Nevertheless, a representative from the United States Marine Corps Training and Education Command revealed to Fox News that the Chinese national had attempted to enter the Twentynine Palms, California, Air Ground Combat Center.

The person was later detained by military officers after being asked to leave by security personnel, according to the spokesperson.

The service, also known as Twentynine Palms, is the largest U. S. Marine Corps center in the country.

The most recent breach comes in response to many cases of Chinese citizens attempting to break into American military installations over the past few years.

In 2020, two Chinese citizens were detained for entering and taking pictures without authorization at a U.S. Navy foundation in Florida, according to a recent report from The Wall Street Journal.
The union’s head of border police recently expressed concern about a sharp rise in the number of military-aged Chinese people crossing the U.S.-Mexico borders improperly, which conflicts with CBP information.

Amid an illegitimate immigration crisis of ancient proportions, there’s been an extremely large increase in the number of Chinese nationals—in certain military- aged men—who have unjustly crossed the U. S. –Mexico border.

According to CBP data, the number of one Chinese adults encountered by Border Patrol agents global increased from February to February, and it had increased by twofold in April, as compared to previous monthly averages.

More than half the number of individual Foreign individuals who entered the country illegally in February 2024, Border Patrol agents encountered 5, 455 of those in February.

China is designated a” country of certain priority” by the U. S. State Department, while the FBI says that economic espionage and intelligence efforts emanating from China’s communist program are a “grave danger” to America’s economic stability.

Some analysts believe that the increase is likely being driven by the deteriorating economic conditions in China, along with human rights violations and policies like strict COVID- 19 lockdowns.

Some border patrol agents have cautioned that the increase in Chinese illegal immigrants entering the country poses a threat to national security because some people have connections to the Chinese military and are primarily looking for a better life.

The union’s head of border patrol, Brandon Judd, recently expressed concern about a sharp rise in Chinese men of military age crossing the southern border illegally, claiming that some of them may be spies.

” At best, they’re here for a better life”, Mr. Judd said in a mid- February interview on” Just the News, No Noise” TV program. ” At worst, they’re here to be part of the Chinese government to infiltrate our own country”.

Jason Owens, the chief of the U. S. Border Patrol ( USBP), revealed at the end of February that, so far this fiscal year, the San Diego sector had seen over 20, 000 apprehensions of Chinese nationals, over five times the number in the comparable period last year.

    ‘ China’s Shock Troops ‘

At the beginning of the current fiscal year, Chinese people were the fourth- highest nationality crossing the Darién Gap between Colombia and Panama and heading north toward the United States, after Venezuelans, Ecuadorians, and Haitians, according to The Associated Press.

In a recent op-ed in The Epoch Times, Gordon Chang, a senior fellow at the Gatestone Institute and author of” The Coming Collapse of China,” writes that “almost all of the Chinese migrants who travel north from places in Central and South America are desperate, looking for a better life for themselves and their children.

” Some, however, are coming to commit acts of sabotage”, he argued.

Mr. Chang explained that many Chinese nationals fly to Ecuador, which allows them to enter visa- free. Then, they travel to the southern edge of the Darién Gap, a 66- mile stretch of jungle that separates Colombia and Panama, typically crossing on foot. Once they get to the north side, they continue their journey to the United States, often by bus, according to the China expert.

” Some migrants are almost certainly members of China’s People’s Liberation Army ( PLA )”, Mr. Chang wrote.

” These military- linked migrants, despite their affiliations, have been released into America”, he argued, hinting at yet another negative consequence of the Biden administration’s catch- and- release program, under which asylum- seekers are released into U. S.communities to await asylum hearings.

Since President Joe Biden took office, it is thought that more than 10 million illegal immigrants have crossed the border.

Republicans have blamed President Biden’s policies for fueling the border crisis while calling for measures such as ending the Biden administration’s contentious” catch- and- release” policy, expanding expedited removals, renewing border wall construction, and reinstating the Trump- era” Remain in Mexico” policy.
