After being charged with numerous crimes in Massachusetts over the past two decades, including rape and child rape, an illegal immigrant was recently detained and is awaiting imprisonment proceedings. The illegal immigrant had formerly been detained by law enforcement numerous occasions.
A 33-year-old Guatemalan national was detained last week near his home in Lynn, Massachusetts, according to a press release from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement ( ICE ) office. The unnamed illegal immigrant is anticipated to remain in ICE custody while awaiting a hearing before a Department of Justice immigration prosecutor.
ICE officers explained,” The Guatemalan noncitizen unjustly entered the United States on an unfamiliar day, at an unfamiliar area, and without being inspected, admitted, or paroled by a U. S. emigration official”.
The 33-year-old illegal immigrant was initially detained and charged with assault and battery on a family member, reckless endangerment of a child, and suffocation in March of 2022, according to the press release. But, one year after his incarceration, the Lynn District Court dismissed all charges against the illegal immigrant.
ICE noted that the illegal immigrant was also charged in June of 2023 for” forced plan violation, number disk obscured/not displayed/concealed ID, and fraud”. The East Boston District Court, but, dismissed the following set of costs.

The illegal immigrant was accused of three counts of power and indecent assault on a baby under the age of 14; one count of assaulting a youngster while intoxicated; two counts of assault and battery on a child who had been injured; and one count of intimidation in November of 2023. According to ICE, all of the charges against the 33-year-old improper refugee were dismissed for a superior court hearing in February of this year.
The unnamed illegal immigrant was later arraigned in the Essex Superior Court on nine counts of indecent flour and assault on a baby under the age of 14, one count of baby assault, one count of coercion of a witness, and two counts of power and abuse, according to ICE.
The Massachusetts Court System refused to comply with the immigration detainer and issued an arrest warrant and detainer against the illegal immigrant with the Essex County Correctional Facility in November, and the ERO Boston issued an order for the illegal immigrant to be released on an “unknown date.”
The illegal immigrant was finally detained once more last Thursday, and he is still in ERO’s care.
Field Office Director Todd M. Lyons stated that” this unlawfully present Guatemalan national has been accused of sex crimes against Massachusetts children.” His very presence in our community poses a serious threat to the residents we serve.
