Karen Huger, the star of” Real Housewives of Potomac,” was detained by Maryland police and given her a driving violation warrant after she reportedly crashed her Maserati soon on Tuesday.

A Montgomery County Police Department spokesman confirmed to The Times that officials called the scene of a single-vehicle incident in Potomac at around 11:50 p.m. local period. The pilot, whom authorities identified as Huger, 60, had crossed a middle and hit road signs, officials said.

Huger was “arrested and cited for driving while intoxicated and for other prospects transgressions,” according to authorities. She was eventually released from officers prison.

Representatives for Huger, who has been part of the” Potomac” cast since 2016, did not immediately respond to The Times ‘ request for comment. Bravo even did not respond right away to a question from The Times.

Huger broke her silence Wednesday, attributing the incident to grief over her mother’s 2017 suicide.

” With the departure of my Beloved Mother, Grief comes and goes in tides, and with Mothers Day approaching it has felt more like a tsunami”, Huger said in a statement&nbsp, shared with TMZ.

Huger told the web, which broke the news of the event, that she and a companion had discussed “very psychologically sensitive matters” during a meal before the accident. She claimed that she was crying after returning from supper when she noticed another car “heading straight for me” and swerved to avoid a motion. According to Huber, she “hit the vehicle and then a branch.” The man in the other vehicle drove away, she alleged in her speech.

The actress confirmed that she had received quotes, but that one of them “was related to the incident,” and she did not provide more information. Before driving, she advised drivers to “understand your personal state” and to remember to attach their seat belts.

She continued:” My Mom may be my Guardian Angel but the helmet saved my life”.

Huger’s family, Georgia Raines Wooden, died of kidney failure in&nbsp, November 2017. &nbsp, She was 71. Less than a year afterwards, in July 2018, Huger&nbsp, lost her father, Benjamin B. Wooden Jr. &nbsp, to natural causes at period 74.

On the show, Huger frequently mentioned her marriage with her kids. In an event that&nbsp, ran in 2016, the great lady recalled her mother’s assistance.

” If it were n’t for my mama waking me up every morning asking me what did I want to be today and telling me that I could be anything”, Huger said,” I would n’t be living this life”.
