The Biden plan announced the hiring of three” seasoned” employees to lead its work in Florida.
The Republican-dominated state’s election campaign announced on Monday that it will try to win in Florida in November, citing” a path to victory” in the Republican-dominated position.
The Biden plan has “multiple channels,” according to plan administrator Julie Chavez Rodriguez, who first disclosed it to NBC News.
” Make no mistake: Florida is not an easy state to get, but it is a winning one for President Biden, particularly given Trump’s poor, cash- strapped campaign, and critical vulnerabilities within his coalition”, she stated.
Ms. Rodriguez said the Biden plan has appointed three” trained” operatives to direct its efforts in Florida: Jasmine Burney Clark as express campaign manager, and Phillip Jerez and Jackie Lee as senior officials.
” This new, severe abortion restrictions — one that Donald Trump physically paved the way for — did now amount to a ban for the entire Southeast”, Ms. Rodriguez said.
She continued,” People in the region who require reproductive care must now choose between risking their lives or traveling hundreds or thousands of miles to get care,” she continued.
Ms. Rodriguez referred to Florida as” Ground Zero for Trump’s MAGA Blueprint”, citing some “deeply unhappy policy” that she said made it easier for thieves to carry weapons and banned books in the position.
She added that Florida has” some of the fastest rising housing fees” in recent years and that the state ranks 44th among all claims for access to and value of health insurance.
‘ Opportunity’ With Nikki Haley’s Electors
Additionally, Ms. Rodriguez thinks President Biden has a relationship with the ex-Susquehanna governor. Nikki Haley’s citizens in Florida. After she suspended her campaign, she claimed that 155, 000 Democratic primary voters in Florida chose her in the main.
We fully anticipate that many of those citizens will never vote for Trump and are doable for President Biden in November, according to Ms. Rodriguez, in line with other states, including those with enter polls.
” Our plan, our partnership, and the unique interactions this election offers make it clear: President Biden is in a stronger position to win Florida this period than he was in 2020″, she added.
Past polls found that a good bulk of Ms. Haley’s electors did not identify themselves as Republicans. News exit polls conducted during the New Hampshire GOP Primary in January, where President Trump won against Ms. Haley with a percentage of 54.4 to 43.2, found that 70 percent of Ms. Haley’s followers identified as hidden voters, while 27 percent were registered Republicans.
