Chris Bowen, the minister of energy and climate change, has pledged to revitalize the solar-making sector with a$ 1 billion ( US$ 650 million ) item.
In a new video on social media, the secretary provided an update on the Solar SunShot system, which is part of an ambitious plan to turn Australia into a “renewable power power” via$ 40 billion worth of purchase.
The federal government may use manufacturing subsidies and grants to promote Australian solar panels producers in the context of the program.
Federal funding will be available for manufacturing facilities that are directly involved in the supply chain for solar panels, such as the creation of panel cells and polysilicon, a crucial component of solar panels.
