Largest U.S. fresh egg producer finds bird flu in chickens at Texas, Michigan plants

The largest manufacturer of raw eggs in the United States announced on Tuesday that it had briefly suspended production at a Texas plant following the discovery of bird flu in chickens. Additionally, officials said the virus had been found at a Michigan poultry facility as well.
