Three whistleblowers claimed that the Internal Revenue Service ( IRS ) failed to look into their claim that institutional mortgage lenders did not follow regulations, but the Supreme Court decided not to review the dismissal of the case.
The world’s highest judge refused to grant the petition for appellate, or assessment, in Stone v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue, in an anonymous purchase on April 1. No judges dissented. The judge did not explain its choice. The judges had discussed the plea at their secret meeting on March 28. At least four of the nine judges may vote in order for a petition to be moved to the dental discussion level.
