Almost 500, 000 transplants from Florida chose to move up north despite the pandemic population boom.
There were almost two consumers moving to Florida in 2023 for every one person who left, according to data analytics agency CoreLogic.
The Florida backward movement was caused by the destruction of hurricanes on house, rising housing costs, higher homeowners coverage rates, and politics. Last fall, it was estimated that Florida’s potential damage would be$ 47 billion.
Due to the increase in prices by 60 %, the Sunshine State is ranked as one of the more expensive state to buy real estate in.
Louis Rotkowitz, a graft from New York who purchased a home in the West Palm Beach neighborhood in 2022, was interviewed by NBC News, who was unhappy with his walk due to erratic drivers, rising buyer costs, and the occurrence of guns. He picked up and moved to North Carolina.

Residents made fun of the implants and their decision to relocate north, on social media.
