Donald Trump criticized President Joe Biden‘s border policies in a rally speech on Tuesday evening in Grand Rapids, Michigan, using the latest fatal shooting of a younger person.
Mr. Trump has used burning language about the US-Mexico borders, migrants, and murder to showcase his anti-immigration border policies and ignite fear about the current state of the border as part of his presidential campaign.
In doing so on Tuesday, Mr. Trump spoke about Ruby Garcia, a 25-year-old Michigan native who law enforcement claim was killed by 25-year-old Brandon Ortiz-Vite, a Mexican gentleman who Garcia was emotionally involved with.
Ortiz-Vite was living in the country without authorization, which many conservatives have used to make the case that those crossing the US-Mexico border are risky and blame President Biden for allowing them to enter.
However, a number of politicians are voicing their disapproval of Mr. Trump and his supporters for using the death of a young person to make a social level.
Also Garcia’s girlfriend posted on social media asking investigators to quit using Garcia’s tale to change it into “political bull****”.

Garcia was discovered lifeless on the shoulder of US 131 at Leonard Street in Grand Rapids on March 22 after being wounded several times by a bullet. According to state soldiers, a preliminary investigation indicated bad perform was suspected.

According to a statement from Immigration and Customs Enforcement ( ICE), Ortiz-Vite is a Mexican national who entered the country without authorization sometime before May 2019.
His DACA standing expired in May 2019, but an immigration judge ruled in his place in September 2020 after he was detained on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in August of that year.
According to an ICE director, Ortiz-Vite re-enter the US without being subject to an immigration official’s assessment until about that point. ICE officers filed an immigration expunction with the Kent County Jail after his imprisonment in connection with the murder of Garcia.
Ortiz- Vite’s emigration standing has however become the subject of the dreadful death of Garcia, much like Laken Riley’s death, which occurred 22 years ago.
Senate member Kari Lake unfoundedly stated that Garcia’s suicide was the result of Mr Biden’s” find- and- launch- policy” and used Garcia’s death to encourage her border policies.
Texas Representative Lance Gooden claimed that President Biden “let ] Garcia’s ] killer back into the United States,” despite receiving no confirmation from the authorities as to when Ortiz- Vite re-entertain.
Michigan Representative Elissa Slotkin told CNN it was “gruesome” of Mr Trump and his friends to use the “domestic crime crime” for social reasons. She continued to criticize them for failing to implement actual change with the bipartisan legislation that included steps to” safe” the frontier.
No one is missing, according to Ms. Slotkin, because despite all the talk that the former president and his allies have about the border and” all we need to do is secure the border,” they wo n’t let us vote on a bipartisan package that the Republicans presented a few weeks ago.
Gretchen Whitmer, the governor of Michigan, where Mr. Trump was speaking, acknowledged that there was a “real issue on our southern boundary,” but she noted that the former leader had sunk a bipartisan deal to improve stability it, presumably so that he could continue to campaign on the subject.
She said:” There was a solution on the table. The former president was the one who actually urged Republicans to abandon their efforts to accomplish it. When it continues to threaten our economy and, at least to some extent, our people as we saw unfold in Grand Rapids recently, I do n’t have a lot of tolerance for political points.
In a statement, Michigan state senator Winnie Brinks said Garcia’s death “is a tragic instance of domestic violence, and is made even more tragic when it is co-opted by those wishing to score political points by stoking fear, xenophobia, and division.”
” We know that immigrants ( of all statutes ) have contributed in ways too numerous to count as parents, business owners, neighbors, employees, church members, community leaders, and friends”, Ms Brinks added.
