Col.  , Dustin Richards , may assume control of the 88th Air Base Wing at , Wright- Patterson Air Force Base , second year in the , Modern Flight Gallery , of the , National Museum , of the , U. S. Air Force.
Lt. Gen.  , Donna Shipton, captain of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, may rule over the service, which is scheduled for , 10 a. m. Tuesday.
Richards may order one of the biggest air basic arms in the , Air Force, with more than 5, 000 defense, civil, and company employees.
The aircraft serves and supports one of the biggest bases , Air Force, a basic home to a significant merger facility, research and development facilities and more. The bottom has more than 35, 000 employees, making it the largest solitary- site company in the condition of , Ohio.
Prior to this assignment, Richards was the senior military assistant to the assistant secretary of the , Air Force , ( Energy, Installations, and Environment ).
The original chief of the 88th Air Base Wing, Col , Christopher Meeker, was relieved of command in December.
Beyond conventional military terminology that attributes the choice to a lack of confidence in Meeker’s leadership ability, no justification for the action was provided.
Meeker has been working since therefore under Shipton’s leadership of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright- Patterson.
Shipton was the one to make the decision to take Meeker.
