According to court documents and national security experts,” U.S. officials were keenly aware that Beijing was trying to obtain America’s premier nuclear reactor technologies, including through illegal hackers, months before Hunter Biden and his company partners sought to organise a peaceful sale of an iconic U.S. reactor company to a Chinese firm.”
Hunter Biden attempted to help CEFC China Energy to get Westinghouse, one of America’s most famous electric and equipment brands, as well as its state- the- art AP1000 atomic reactor.
Despite Joe Biden serving as the sitting Vice President, notes reveal Hunter started his work with the Chinese firm in earlier 2016. According to a backup of the prosecution, only 20 months before, his family’s Justice Department charged , five members of a Chinese military hackers device for breaching the company’s computer systems in search of intellectual property and domestic strategy communications.
Just the News reports:
In May 2014, the five operatives of the People’s Liberation Army’s Unit 61398 were charged with hacking into the systems of six U. S. based companies across different industrial sectors, including Westinghouse Electric Co., SolarWorld, United States Steel Corp., and a union. The attorney general at the time, Eric Holder, called the breach a classic case of “economic espionage”.
One operative gained access to Westinghouse’s computers in 2010 and” stole proprietary and confidential technical and design specifications related to pipes, pipe supports, and pipe routing” pertaining to the company’s advanced AP1000 nuclear reactor design, according to an indictment filed by the Department of Justice.
According to the indictment,” these specifications would enable a competitor to construct a plant similar to the AP1000 without going through the expensive research and development costs associated with designing similar pipes, pipe supports, and pipe routing systems,” among other things.
While there is no proof at the moment that Hunter Biden knew of or was involved in the Chinese’s hacking activities, documents previously made available by Congress in the Biden impeachment inquiry reveal that Hunter Biden believed one of the CEFC officials, Patrick Ho, was the “f-ing spy chief” of China, according to Just the News.
Ho was later indicted in the U. S. and charged with corruption. James, Joe Biden’s brother, claimed to believe Ye Jianming, the head of CEFC, had a relationship with China’s communist president.
