Trump, RNC Report $65.5 Million Fundraising Haul In March

According to the new-look Republican National Committee, the former chairman and the former senator have received a sizable amount of money.

In March, the Republican National Committee and the campaign to reelect former president Donald Trump announced they raised a total of$ 65.6 million.

The Republican entities ended the month with more than$ 93.1 million in cash on hand, according to an April 3 release from the RNC.

RNC Co-Chairman Michael Whatley claimed in a discharge that President Trump “once more created a giant among Republicans.”

The Republican National Committee and Trump strategy are a one-unified activity, according to Mr. Whatley in a launch. He has been the Republican Party’s presumed nominee for less than a month.

” We’re raising money and making proper investments to secure the vote,” the statement reads.

The launch did not specify how the funds were divided between the party council and the numerous fundraising commissions associated with the Trump campaign.

However, the amount of cash on hand that the RNC and a few other Trump boards disclosed on March 20 may significantly increase.

The Republican National Committee ( RNC ) had about$ 11.3 million in cash on hand at the end of February, according to what the Republican committees told the FEC in March.
At the end of February, three Trump committees, including the principal campaign committee Donald J. Trump for President 2024 Inc., the qualified leadership political action committee ( PAC ) Save America, and the super PAC Make America Great Again, reported having approximately$ 63.1 million in cash on hand.

Every month, the RNC and its affiliated congressional committees, the National Republican Senatorial Committee ( NRSC ) and the National Republican Congressional Committee ( NRCC), file with the FEC.

Some, but not all, of the Trump boards report each month.

In the middle of April, the whole range of the Trump and Republican fundraising activities should be made public. The boards ‘ economic activities for the first three weeks of 2024 will then be disclosed in quarterly filings.

At the end of February, the Democratic National Committee and President Joe Biden’s plan had a big lead over their Democratic rivals.

Heading into March, the DNC had about$ 26.5 million in cash on hand, while President Biden’s principal campaign committee—just one of the many funds supporting him — had more than$ 71 million in cash on hand, according to the FEC.
At a March 28 fundraiser in New York with former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton as speakers, President Biden most likely pulled in more than$ 25 million in additional campaign donations.
For his part, the Trump campaign and Republican Party interests are expected to raise more than$ 30 million at a fundraiser on April 6 in Palm Beach, Florida, where GOP megadonors like Steve Wynn and Robert Mercer will be present.

In a transfer, Susie Wiles, a top adviser to the Trump campaign, cheered what she called the grass followers for their gifts.

Republicans may not be recipients of the self-interested wealth of Hollywood and Silicon Valley leaders, but President Trump is glad to get supported by donations from voters who constitute the foundation of this country, which may encourage Republicans both up and down the vote, according to Ms. Wiles.
