The former congressman claimed that she has met Robert F. Kennedy numerous times and that they have developed close friendship.
Tulsi Gabbard, the former Hawaii Congresswoman who left the Democratic Party in 2022, apparently turned down an offer to meet Robert F. Kennedy’s presidential seat.
” I met with Kennedy several days, and we have become excellent friends”, Ms. Gabbard said in a speech to ABC News. He inquired about making a running partner for him. After careful thought, I politely declined”.
Ms. Gabbard served four terms in Congress representing Hawaii, became disillusioned, and left the Democratic Party.
Mr. Kennedy met with Ms. Gabbard in January when he was campaigning in Hawaii. In the early stages of the screening process, she was the member who was most often mentioned as Mr. Kennedy’s prospective running mate.
Ms. Gabbard has not said why she decided against becoming Mr. Kennedy’s evil political get.
A” source close to the Kennedy campaign” told ABC News,” There were definitely meetings, but it did n’t work out. We talked to a bunch of folks. Tulsi’s a stone celebrity no matter what”.

Ms. Shanahan is a social amateur and emerged as a later- breaking candidate in Mr. Kennedy’s months- lengthy search for a vice president. She was introduced at an occasion in Oakland, where she was raised.
The decision is expected to help Mr. Kennedy’s campaign, which is battling an organized effort by the Democratic National Committee ( DNC ) to thwart that goal, as it moves forward with the effort to gain ballot access in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Stefanie Spear, Mr. Kennedy’s press secretary, told The Epoch Times that Mr. Kennedy and Ms. Shanahan will look at some situations along and at other times they may “divide and conquer” at vote demonstrations and fundraising activities.
Mr. Kennedy made note of a study that showed he leads all political candidates with voters under the age of 35 and that elections indicate he is attracting younger citizens. He highlighted his going friend’s adolescent years.
” I was most notably looking for a young man’s companion, and Nicole is just 38 years old.” According to Mr. Kennedy, there are becoming more and more Gen Z Americans and teenagers who have lost trust in their potential and delight in our nation.
” Many in the younger generation have stopped believing that older people who have been in charge of our state for so long understand them or act in their interests,” said one member of the group. That older generation that now dominates Congress, the Supreme Court, the White House is the same generation, that same people who ran up the$ 34 trillion debt, and millennials and Gen Z and their children will shoulder the burden”.
Prior to joining Google, Ms. Shanahan was married to Sergey Brin, the co-founder of the company. She helped fund and build Mr. Kennedy’s$ 7 million Super Bowl promotion campaign.

During her address, Ms. Shanahan described a challenging childhood. Her father was “plagued by substance abuse” and” struggled to keep a job,” and her mother immigrated from China.
Ms. Shanahan continued, adding that even though she later attained wealth, she could relate to families” just one misfortune away from disaster.” She added that her family was supported by welfare and food stamps.
According to the DNC and numerous Democrat and Republican political pundits, Mr. Kennedy chose Ms. Shanahan based solely on her wealth and ability to support his campaign.
In an interview with CNN on April 1, Mr. Kennedy dismissed that speculation.
” I do n’t believe anyone who watched that speech would ever say that,” he added. She was impressive. She’s eloquent. She’s authentic. Her life is a template to the American dream”, Mr. Kennedy said.
She received food stamps on welfare and was a minority child in Oakland growing up in extraordinary poverty. She was raised at Stanford and later became one. She became an entrepreneur. She’s a very, very successful businesswoman. She has ]an ] encyclopedic knowledge of AI. She is well-versed in the chronic disease epidemic and how to stop it. She’s young and she’s a mother”, he added.
Mr. Kennedy defended his choice of a running mate without political experience.
” I did n’t want an insider because insiders were the ones who caused the problems,” he said. They created the debt crisis. They gave rise to a war addiction. They created ]a ] chronic disease epidemic. They created the polarization”, he explained.
” I needed someone who was thinking creatively. We’re the only campaign that is looking at this assault on our children, on what is happening to this young generation. So I wanted somebody who is young, who is not an 80- year- old man”, he added.
