Friday night, a strong earthquake shook the East Coast, according to the AP, wreaked havoc on the densely occupied New York City metropolitan region.
The earthquake’s first spasms were recorded at 4.8 scale and were strategically located in Lebanon, New Jersey. Although the sound of lights was audible throughout the city, the New York Fire Department did not report any injury situations within the first hour.
People on the ground in midtown Manhattan reported shaking roads and blaring horns as motorists remained still during the brief effect. Residents of Brooklyn reported to the AP about a booming noise and swaying structures.
Studies of consequences stretched as far north as Baltimore, out to Philadelphia, and as far north as the greater Boston place.
Kathy Hochul, the governor of New York, stated that her team was monitoring improvements and evaluating any effects resulting from the disaster.

According to The New York Times, many East Coast flights temporarily halted all flights while conducting an investigation.
