Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, stated that his company must work harder to maintain its artificial knowledge engineers as the competition for talent in the field intensifies.
Elon Musk announced on April 4 that his electric vehicle ( EV ) company is increasing compensation for the AI engineers in response to OpenAI’s attempts to seize Tesla engineers.
After The Knowledge reported on April 3 that Tesla device- learning scientist Ethan Knight is leaving for Mr. Musk’s AI startup, xAI, the tech billionaire posted on X, saying Mr. Knight did meet OpenAI.
“Ethan was going to visit OpenAI, so it was either xAI or them”, Mr. Musk wrote. They have been aggressively pursuing Tesla professionals with substantial compensation offers, and they have, regrettably, succeeded in a few circumstances.
