
A young boy who is allegedly burned as a result of the current Israel-Hamas conflict is depicted in an image posted on X, previously Online.

The boy, identified as Mohammed Hamid, was the subject of an original 2019 content in the Scandinavian newspapers Expressen. According to the same content, Hamid was hurt in Syria.

The claim is false, yet. The picture was first published in a 2019 content by the Scandinavian paper Expressen, in which the boy was identified as Hamid. According to the same content, Hamid was hurt in Syria.
Similar to this, Check Your Fact did not discover the image in any new, reliable news reports about the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict. In reality, the opposite is true. Additionally, according to a report from Mashbar, the photograph was published on April 3 and does not relate to the current issue.
Also, the outlet cited a 2023 post from Gercek News correcting Hamid’s personality. Hamid, who was 17 years old at the time of the post, is Kurdish, no Arab, opposed to a state originally made by Turkish blogger Erem Senturk, according to Gercek News. Hamid was burned by white calcium in Syria in 2019 during a Greek assault, the outlet reported.
