A Facebook image shows a screenshot of the Russian security services ‘ offices being struck by Russia, according to the caption.

    Verdict: False

The picture is from Beirut, never Ukraine. The picture was taken in 2022 after a blaze.

    Point Test:

18 people were hurt in a Soviet missile strike on April 3 in Dnipro, according to Reuters. Russia has expanded its missile attacks on Ukraine and has hit Russian energy system, the outlet reported.

Social media users are claiming that a Soviet missile attack targeted the SBU offices and posting an image that appears to show the effects of the attack.

What struck the SBU’s surveillance offices in Kiev, according to “breaking news”? Outside, all the essential officers were.‼️Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, was hit by Russian boat and hypersonic missiles on Monday day”, one user wrote.

The picture, though, is not from Ukraine. Assess Your Point discovered that the picture is from Beirut through a reverse image search. In a 2022 Voice of America content about a blaze in Beirut that impacted damaged warehouses in August 2020 when an explosion erupted, the picture was shared.

” This photo from a picture shows smoke and dust rising from collapsing warehouses damaged during the August 2020 huge explosion in the dock, in Beirut, Lebanon, Aug. 23, 2022″, reads the image information.

Russia did indeed target the SBU. Two Russian projectile rockets were fired down by Russian air defense systems after hitting SBU agencies, according to The Kyiv Post. According to Reuters, 10 people were injured by weapon dirt from the shot-down weapons, according to Ukrainian authorities.

This assertion was even refuted by Full Fact. ( RELATED: Facebook Post Falsely Claims Navy JAG Has Started Garland’s Military Tribunal, Accuses Him Of’ Treason’ )
