Verdict: Misleading
The Jewish commander who survived was shot during the incident in 2019. No information exists that Yair Netanyahu is the person in the picture.
Point Test:
The Israel Defense Forces ( IDF) claimed it detained over 500 people of evil organizations, including high- standing officers, according to the Times of Israel.
According to some social media users, a picture shows the brother of Netanyahu being killed by Palestinian militants. One person wrote,” Jewish Prime Minister’s brother, Captain Yair Netanyahu, being put to heaven by Resistance Mujahideen”.
This state is misleading. According to the Times of Israel, the picture shows an IDF official being shot by a Arab rifle affiliated with the Islamic Jihad. The movie was aired on Palestinian broadcast in 2019, and the official survived the tragedy, the outlet reported.
The soldier’s photo does n’t appear to show any Netanyahu. According to the Times of Israel, the Jewish man in the photo appears to be Yair Nifousy, a 20-year-old paratrooper who passed away from wounds in Gaza in November 2023, according to a reverse image research conducted by Examine Your Point.

Yair Netanyahu appears to be the perfect minister’s son, no brother. He does not seem to have fought in Gaza late, with him being spotted in Miami, Florida, according to the Daily Mail. According to the Times of Israel, he is well known for his contentious social media posts and extreme right opinions.
