On April 6, former president Donald Trump will attend a$ 43 million charity event with Warren Stephens and two other important GOP sponsors.

Former President Donald Trump is now being supported by a major financial supporter of Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign.

The invitation said President Trump will be in attendance, along with Sen. Tim Scott ( R- S. C. ), North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, and business Vivek Ramaswamy, all of whom were candidates in the 2024 Democratic presidential primary.

Mr. Stephens, CEO of Stephens Inc., along with some of his friends, was a major supporter of former U. S. Ambassador to the U. N.’s pay for the GOP’s 2024 presidential election.

According to Federal Election Commission information, Warren Stephens and his family, Harriet Stephens, gave$ 2 million to a variant political action committee—SFA Fund Inc. —to help Ms. Haley’s election in 2023.
In January 2024, Warren Stephens, Harriett Stephens, and Laura Stephens, a top selling contact manager at Stephens Inc., sent a shared$ 1 million to SFA Fund.

The Trump 47 charity, according to a spokesperson for event co-host John Paulson, is anticipated to generate$ 43 million in funding for President Trump, the Republican National Committee, and several Republican Party interests in the United States.

Mr. Stephens ‘ participation in the list of inc- chairs—which includes GOP donation heavyweights like Robert Bigelow, Robert Mercer, and Steve Wynn—is a vital transition for President Trump’s plan.

Additionally, according to the latest square of FEC disclosures for both candidates, President Biden’s plan holds a significant money- on- hands advantage over President Trump.

It’s still to be seen if any more major donors who strongly supported the cross Committee supporting Ms. Haley, along with GOP megadonors Ken Griffin and Paul Singer, will back President Trump in the upcoming months.

    Other Major Donors

Geoffrey Palmer and Kelcy Warren were the new names on the updated invitation.

Additionally, Mr. Palmer has contributed to a foundation that supported President Trump’s earlier reelection campaign, America First Action.

Energy Transfer LP’s board of directors is led by Mr. Warren, both as its executive chairman and chairman.

The Dakota Access Pipeline is a project of Energy Transfer. Following President Trump’s executive order in January of that year, the pipeline began operations in 2017. Energy Transfer previously accused the Obama administration of delaying the pipeline’s construction.

In August 2020, Mr. Kelcy gave$ 10 million to America First Action, according to donor records maintained by the watchdog group OpenSecrets. He frequently contributes to Republican causes and candidates, including the Republican National Committee.
