    Juarez police deal with multiple murders, kidnappings in single morning

    EL PASO, Texas ( Border Report )– Violence continues to plague Juarez, Mexico, despite the recent introduction of 2, 100 men and next week’s exchange of gang leaders from several state prison.

    Five men were killed early on Friday, bringing the total to 21 crime patients in the first five weeks of April. In the highly populated Zaragoza area near the U.S. borders, two people were shot in broad light inside a azure Car on a street corner.

    Police claimed assailants chased a rider down the street and fatally shot the idling car’s driver at point-blank range. Police and people of Mexico’s National Guard conducted a search of a nearby apartment a few minutes afterward where many people reportedly were being held against their will.

    On Friday, April 5, 2024, three Juarez authorities officers stand in front of a victim’s system.

    A man claimed to have escaped the home, according to a police statement obtained by Border Report, called authorities at 10:17 a.m. He claimed he and four other people were held against his may for two weeks. A native called a second time to say that their neighbors were yelling for help at the house.

    According to the report, various witnesses reported seeing three men chauffeur some people with their faces covered into the home two days earlier. Out of fear for their lives, the people did not report the event.

    One person who self-identified as a migrant was rescued from the home, according to authorities. Eventually, they learned of a subsequent man who had managed to escape Juarez and left quickly. As of early Friday evening, no prosecutions had been reported.

    The president of Juarez and several police officers holding their regular public safety meeting on Friday are awaiting answers from Border Report.
