Following a legislation enforcement research of his house last month, Atlanta Mayor Marty Small dismissed swirling stories on Monday.
Small said during a media conference , the hunt was connected to a family matter, hardly any sprawling problem incident.
” I have nothing to hide”, Small said.
” There’s no problem. Our home is not financed by the Atlantic City Housing Authority. City of Atlantic City wealth is not kept in our home. I did n’t steal anything. As it is claimed, my family did not bring income from the Atlantic City Board of Education to our home. No, we do n’t have drugs in our house and no, we do n’t have guns”, he said.
He said the , Atlantic County prosecutor’s office , took laptops and mobile phones from his apartment next Thursday.
They did it all because they wanted people to believe there was some sort of communication going on, he said.
Little stock the home with his wife,  , Dr. La’Quetta Small, the director of , Atlantic City Public Schools.
The president said the research, which he was aware of, started several months ago. He gave no additional information about what the research involved.
He added that “rumors” that his young girl was female and had been hit so severely by his family or him that she lost the child or babies were untrue.
” The most severe myth today is that my child was giving birth to twins. And I sucked the worst out of her, killing the children. And I’m going to be charged with double, triple death. Additionally, the president claimed during the attack that they were looking for proof of a miscarriage in my home.
Small and his attorney declined to respond to a reporter’s inquiries regarding an reported record of his daughter’s misuse of a school employee.
But, he also discussed the imprisonment of , Atlantic City High School , Principal , Constance Days- Chapman , — Small’s previous campaign manager — who reportedly did not notify the appropriate authorities when a juvenile scholar made an abuse claim against their parents.
” There’s a lot of politics going on and I’m going to let the press connect the dots”, Small said.
The Atlantic County prosecutor’s office said in a speech that the agency carried out the warrant’s execution properly and according to usual operating procedures.
