On Friday’s spread of “CNN NewsNight”, Rep. Josh Gottheimer ( D- NJ) stated that we should place out that Hamas is also attacking Israel by launching missiles at it.
Gottheimer stated,” I think there]are ] a couple of facts we have to look at: One, you saw Israel take responsibility for that tragedy…by firing the general and holding others accountable. I think]those were ] the appropriate steps to take and the proper action. The key to our collective attention right now is making sure that we may reach that momentary pause and that we can free the hostages, because remember that Hamas also has Americans who are hostage now. And part of what I was trying to do in these last days in Qatar and Egypt was to find out what we are doing to bring the hostages home. And of course, how do we find more humanitarian assistance, immediately, into Gaza? To me, those are the two main steps, and Israel, of course, is also dealing with missiles being fired into Israel. In addition, if you had Hamas attacked Israel, Israel is also dealing with missiles coming in, and you are dealing with an ongoing issue where Hamas has stated they will do it a second, third, and fourth day until Israel is destroyed from the valley to the water and all the Immigrants are killed, I think it’s important to make a point of as well, if you had, I think it’s important to make a point. Therefore, in order to try to paint a fuller image, there are some facts that serve as a backdrop.
