Democrats on Tuesday retaliated violently against a Democratic request to name Dulles International Airport in honor of previous president Donald Trump.
The plan put forth by GOP colleagues to hit the name of the double impeached, four times indicted president on the major international airport serving Washington, D.C., mocked furiously by lawmakers from north Virginia and other places.

” Donald Trump is facing 91 criminal costs. If Republicans want to label something after him, I’d recommend they find a national prison”, Democrat Rep. Gerry Connolly said in a statement.
Rep. Don Beyer ( D- Virginia ) said the effort to valorize Trump reflects his totalitarian grip on the Republican Party, which he , compared to that of Northern Vietnamese bodybuilder Kim Jong- us.
” They know our aircraft will never be named after Trump”, Beyer said. The purpose is to” swallow up to their Dear Leader,” they say.
The , two- website expenses introduced by Rep. Guy Reschenthaler, a part of the GOP House authority serving Pennsylvania’s 14th District, may actually name Dulles to Donald J. Trump International Airport
” As million fly through the airport … there is no better symbol of freedom, happiness, and power than hearing’ Welcome to Trump International Airport ‘ as they land on British soil”, Reschenthaler said in a statement.
Thus far, six much correct- aircraft GOP lawmakers have co- sponsored the bill.
The bill would need to pass the equally divided House of Representatives and doubtful yet to receive a vote in the Democratic-led Senate, which has almost no chance of becoming legislation. Even if the bill miraculously passed Congress, President Biden would have to sign it.
The Washington, D. C., region already has one aircraft named after a Republican ex- leader. Former President Bill Clinton in 1998 signed into law a measure , naming Washington National Airport after Ronald Reagan.
Rep. Jennifer Wexton, a retiring Democrat whose , north Virginia area includes Dulles, said the act shows how “unserious” Republicans are about really getting work done.
Wexton urged us to focus on the real issues that the American people have asked us to address, no renaming an airport after people who sought to undermine our democracy.
