The Empire State Building and One World Trade Center are among the popular temples that have rumbled beneath New York City on Friday. Engineering experts claim that skyscrapers are built with adequate flexibility to withstand reasonable shaking, despite the fact that tall structures over 100 stories may seem particularly susceptible to earthquakes.
