When Peter Navarro is incarcerated for the same do, U.S. District Court Judge Ana Reyes criticized doctors for the Department of Justice for refusing to comply with subpoenas issued by the U.S. House of Representatives.
Navarro is currently serving a four-month word for disobeying a January 6 Committee lawsuit. A political secretary would have been in violation of the separation of powers, according to Navarro.
In its investigation into President Joe Biden, the Biden Department of Justice relied on the same reasoning to shield two of its attorneys, Mark Daly and Jack Morgan, from warrants from the House Judiciary Committee.
Before a federal prosecutor in Delaware questioned a plea deal, the committee wants to know about Daly and Morgan’s position in the government’s son Hunter Biden’s investigation into tax transgressions that were slow-walked and almost dropped.
Politico reported:
A Biden appointment on the federal district court in Washington, U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes, charged nearly an hour of level hypocrisy by accusing Justice Department attorneys of directing two other DOJ Tax Division lawyers to refuse to comply with the House summons.
” There’s a man in prison right today because you all brought a criminal complaint against him because he did not appear for a House subpoena”, Reyes said, referring to the , new prison of Peter Navarro, a former Trump business director, for defying a subpoena from the Jan. 6 select committee. ” And now you guys are flouting those subpoenas. … And you do n’t have to show up”?
