President Donald Trump has secured another$ 50.5 million in funds for his 2024 reelection bid, nearly doubling his team’s record- breaking pull of$ 26 million.
The event  has now taken the title of being the most powerful political fundraiser in U.S. history, according to Hedge Fund Billionaire Host John Paulson, who sent an email to The Epoch Times on Saturday evening.
” Tomorrow, we raised an traditional$ 50.5 million for the are- election of President Trump. This sold-out charity has raised the most money in a single political gala in history. The overwhelming majority of people back President Trump and his plans, showing how enthusiastic they are.
The charity, dubbed the” Inaugural Leadership Dinner”, was held in Mr. Paulson’s$ 110 million home in Palm Beach, Florida.
Co- chairs of the occasion include Robert Bigelow, mind of Las Vegas- based Bigelow Aerospace, Howard Lutnick, chairman and CEO of economic services organization Cantor Fitzgerald LP, Robert Mercer, past co- leader of fence fund Renaissance Technologies, Phil Ruffin, owner of Las Vegas’s Treasure Island and Circus Circus hotel- casinos, and Wynn Resorts Ltd. founder Steve Wynn, who served as the RNC’s finance chair from 2017 to 2018.
Trump’s family Melania was present, too. Mr. Paulson’s girlfriend Alina de Almeida was also at the event, as well as former Republican presidential hopefuls including Sen. Tim Scott ( R- S. C. ), North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, and Ohio business Vivek Ramaswamy.

Prior to the event, Mr. Paulson claimed administrators had now secured$ 43 million in funding for President Trump’s election campaign in 2024.
A spokesperson stated that” there is massive assistance amongst a wide range of donors.”
President Trump is still being supported by some of the richest Democrat donors despite his ongoing legal battles, including a” New York” hush money trial scheduled to start on April 15.
The Biden plan had previously praised President Biden’s record fundraising pull of$ 26 million at a glittering event attended by 5, 000 people in the Big Apple last week as the biggest political gala in history. Former US president Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, as well as a number of musicians and various artists, were guests at the Radio City Music Hall function.
The campaign’s fundraising arm announced in a memo on Saturday that it had raised$ 90 million in March and had$ 92 million in cash ready for April.

The 2020 election already came in as the most expensive federal campaign in history, where spending on the presidential race exceeded$ 6 billion, according to OpenSecrets. org, a nonpartisan research group that tracks money in U. S. politics.
